Our college’s Department of Field Crops holds its training course on using modern methods to combat drought and high temperatures.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul) and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Muhammad Aziz (Department Head), the Field Crops Department held a scientific training course entitled ((Resisting drought and high temperatures using modern methods)) today, Sunday, March 31, 2024; the course will continue until next Thursday. The Dean of the College attended part of the course’s opening, several members of our college and employees of state departments, especially agricultural ones. The aim of holding this course is to shed light on climate changes, drought, and high temperatures and their impact on agricultural production in general and field crops, especially areas planted with strategic crops of wheat and barley, and to address the most critical modern means and techniques in the field of dealing with these changes.
