A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the Department of Animal Production/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Haitham Muhammad Subeih Al-Hayali) on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Thesis title (The effect of growth hormone genotypes on the productive performance of Awassi ewes crossed with Awassi and Hamdaniya males). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) and several college teachers attended part of the discussion.
The study aims to investigate (the effect of growth hormone genetics of the two crossed strains of males on body weight, weight gain, the amount of feed consumed, and the feed conversion factor).
