College of Agriculture and Forestry

Today, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee in our College held a scientific symposium entitled (Awareness of the danger of drugs and their impact on society) under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi (President of the University of Mosul) and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College). The Dean of the College and several members and students of our College attended part of it.

The symposium aimed to introduce drugs, their impact on society, and the most widespread types of drugs. It also touched on the damage resulting from drug abuse on humans, the most critical disease symptoms, treatment methods, how to deal with a person with an addiction, ways to prevent this dangerous scourge, and the social classes most affected by drugs.
