A master’s thesis was discussed in the Department of Plant Protection/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Omar Saleh Muhammad Abdel-Aali) on Monday, September 18, 2023. Thesis title (Environmental and biological studies of the fall armyworm Spodoptera frugipeerda on the yellow corn crop in the Nimrud district, with reference to its chemical control). The study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of chemical control of the insect in the field, the type of trap used, as well as environmental, biological, and molecular studies of the insect.

The discussion committee consisted of:

Then the discussion committee read the decision, which included acceptance of the thesis and awarded the student an M.Sc. degree.
