Rector Al-Ahmedy receives Governor of Nineveh, Eng. Mansoor Al-Mareed in his office on November 19 2019. The meeting was for checking on the preliminary procedures carried out for the inception of the reconstruction of the project of the ‘specialized medical researches’ centers,’ which is an integrated hospital equipped with the latest advanced medical appliances for the treatment of the critical pathological cases like the problems of the digestive track, renal problems and the urinary track, the cardiac problems, the neural problems and the problems of infertility. Later, Rector Al-Ahmedy and his guests paid a visit to the site of the project to see the works. Governor Al-Mareed urged the acceleration of works in order to have the center finished within the timetable determined to improve and elevate the health care services for the people of Mosul. At the end of their meeting, Governor Al-Mareed appreciated the efforts exerted by Rector Al-Ahmedy and his cooperation and adoption of short-term and long-term strategies to reconstruct all the destructed buildings in University of Mosul for enhancing the educational reality. In his turn, Rector Al-Ahmedy also appreciated the Governor’s interest in and following up the project and facilitating its whereabouts.
