In harmony with the University’s vision of adhering to peace and rejecting all types of extremism and violence, a delegation of the University participated in the ministry-prescribed meeting, held at the Research and Development Office of Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on April 13th, 2021.The meeting, to which various Iraqi universities and security authorities attended, aimed at reinforcing societal peace through upholding the values of tolerance, dialogue and coexistence, and at rejecting all types of extremism and violence. Also, the meeting was concluded by recommendations that included opening new postgraduate studies in the specialism of societal peace to maintain focus on and to promote culture of these values.
