In accordance with the directives from the Office of the Prime Minister— the Supreme Committee for Education Development— Mosul University, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, hosted the deputies of the university presidents from Nineveh, Kirkuk, Diyala, Anbar, and Salah al-Din, along with directors of cultural relations departments on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in the university’s Scientific and Literary Forum Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the scholarship program for the year 2025 for staff members of Iraqi universities, focusing on the key instructions and proposals necessary for the correct implementation of its mechanisms and identifying solutions to the obstacles that impede its progress in achieving the scholarship’s objectives of enhancing scientific and research activities and leveraging the potential of the scholarship holders.
