In another step toward achieving academic prominence, the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul participated in the Excellence and Creativity Award Examination for Iraqi medical colleges. The event was held at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, on Monday, December 23, 2024, and involved the top three graduates from each medical college.

Zakaria Ali Khalaf, the top graduate of the College of Medicine for the 2023–2024 academic year, secured first place in the competition. Additionally, Farah Ali Hassan, the college’s second top graduate for the same academic year, achieved sixth place in the award rankings.
