Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received a delegation from UNESCO headed by Mr. Tabraj Pant, Education Program Specialist at UNESCO/Iraq.

The delegation offered congratulations to the Rector on his assumption of the presidency of the University, expressing their appreciation for the role of the University of Mosul in promoting education and culture in the region.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the university and the organization, especially in matters related to the completion of projects related to the development of the central library at the university, the development of the educational infrastructure in addition to the need to promote education, scientific research and the development of academic programs in line with international standards
