As part of developing the accounting and control skills of its employees, the University of Mosul participated in the workshop organized by the training center of the Federal Financial Control Office – Mosul Branch, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, under the title:
“The mechanism of applying and implementing the requirements for preparing financial statements for government administrations funded from the general state budget and self-funded administrations”.

The workshop witnessed the participation of 50 employees of accountants and auditors at the university, whose lectures were delivered by certified public accountant Dr. Muhammad Abdul Fattah Hamoudi / Senior Board Chairman.

The workshop aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge of how to prepare financial statements according to the Unified Accounting System and the Governmental Accounting System, by providing a comprehensive understanding of the basic accounting principles and procedures for preparing financial statements, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and reliability in preparing financial reports and committing to the legal dates for their submission, in accordance with the Financial Management and Public Debt Law.

This activity comes within the university’s continuous efforts to develop the capabilities of its administrative and accounting personnel, to ensure the highest levels of quality and transparency in the organization of financial and administrative work.
