Chemical, Biological and Radiological Safety and Security Division organizes a scientific course to develop the skills of postgraduate students

 

The Chemical, Biological and Radiological Safety and Security Division held the 47th course in the field of chemical, biological and radiological safety and security for the period from February 10-13, 2025 in Ibn Al-Haytham Hall at the College of Education for Pure Sciences for graduate students with 120 master’s and doctoral students, to prepare them in a way that keeps pace with the safety aspect in scientific laboratories.

A group of lecturers and university professors lectured in it.

The first lecture was dedicated to Prof. Dr. Mounir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, who focused on the importance of dealing with these materials according to laboratory instructions to ensure their safety and the safety of laboratories, in addition to talking about the importance of scientific publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals approved in international Scopus repositories.

Among the lecturers of the course, Prof. Dr. Hayam Adel Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Yaqzan Saleh, Head of the Scientific Affairs Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulhadi Jassim, Assistant Professor Dr. Noor Hazem Mohammed Thalji, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Amin Al-Imam, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Tariq Yassin, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Adel Sabah, and Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Adel Sabah
