The Environmental Research Center issues a guide to its activities in the field of sustainable development between 2022-2024

The Environmental Research Center (ERC) at the University of Mosul has published a guide that includes the center’s achievements in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) between 2022-2024
It includes various topics related to patterns and methods of combating pollution and reducing environmental disasters, organic agriculture, modern techniques in monitoring gas emissions, solar energy as an alternative energy, global warming and its effects on climate change, damage of chemical fertilizers, oil pollution, natural resource management, hazardous waste, environmental protection from desertification, radioactive pollution and its effects, lead poisoning. Modern methods in filtering drinking water, the National Initiative for Energy Support and Emission Reduction, desertification-resistant plants, carbon footprint and water footprint, the role of women in entrepreneurship, sustainable smart cities, sustainable forest management in Nineveh, drug awareness and environmental guidelines in awareness lectures, and afforestation campaign.
This came through various scientific activities such as seminars, workshops, courses, festivals, panel discussions, awareness lectures, partnerships, and volunteer campaigns.
By 6 workshops, 5 scientific seminars, 4 scientific courses, 1 festival, 16 panel discussions and scientific lectures, 3 participants in scientific workshops, 3 participants in international conferences, 1 participant in a scientific exhibition, 3 participants in meetings concerned with sustainable development, and 2 volunteer campaigns for relief and afforestation
