In the presence of the Vice-Dean of Scientific Affairs Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim Zubeer, and the President of the Iraqi Society of Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgery, Nineveh branch, Prof Dr Ali A. Mohammad (from the Department of Surgery), and a group of doctors specializing in the Nineveh Health Division, the association held a scientific activity on Friday, 17 January 2020. The activity included a lecture delivered by Dr Nizar M. Tahir, Head of the Department of Pathology, entitled “Immunohistochemistry: Principle and Clinical Applications” The Representative of Pharma Active Pharmaceutical Company (the supporter of the Activity) also delivered an introductory lecture about the company and its activities. On the side-lines of the works, some doctors from the Nineveh Health Department were honoured with commemorative shields on the occasion of reaching the legal age and referring them to retirement. The Scientific Aide has kindly honoured some of them. Holding this activity comes within the sustainable scientific activity organized by the Iraqi Society of Otolaryngologists and Surgery of Head and Neck of Nineveh branch, and that the attendance of the Deanship of the College of Medicine is an affirmation of its support for such scientific activities which are of great importance.
