College of Medicine

Under the direction of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. al-Ahmadi, and with the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed, the Head of the Dept. of Microbiology, lecturer Dr Firas M. Dawood al-Taee, released an educational video package on Corona virus on March 4 2020. The five videos included an introduction to the emerging coronavirus, its methods of spread, clinical symptoms of the virus and methods of its prevention, and it was presented by a distinguished group of third stage students including Muhammad Humam, Taha Abdul Salam, Doha Sufyan, Abdul Razzaq Khalid, Muhammad Yunus Abdul Sattar, Hanin Amjad, and Ali Saleh. The students Muhammad Younis and Hassan al-Rawi, took care of the sound, photography, and other artistic matters. The videos were produced under the supervision of the lecturer Dr Ahmed A. Ahmed, and the assistant lecturer Dr Walid Khaled. You can follow the videos on the college YouTube channel. This scientific activity falls into one of the goals of University of Mosul, which it seeks to achieve and serve the community.
