The College of Medicine Participating in a Scientific Meeting Organized by the Iraqi Society of Otolaryngology

The Iraqi Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery held an electronic scientific meeting on Friday, 8th May 2020. The meeting focused on re-working in health institutions (especially in work ear, nose and throat) after interrupting the ban and resuming work in hospitals. The meeting included several issues the most important of which is to ensure the safety of health personnel from being infected with coronavirus. As well as preparing an outpatient clinic, and how to deal with various procedures, clinical examination and surgeries in these circumstances. The first speaker in this meeting was the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed. He spoke about the procedures supposed to be followed by the health institution and its employees to ensure the safety of health personnel as well as a selection of specialists from all over Iraq who participated in this important scientific meeting. Recommendations will be issued to health institutions to be taken as guidelines to work according to them after the resumption of full-time work to provide health services to citizens (on the one hand), while ensuring the safety of the patient and health personnel together (on the other hand).
