An invitation for Medical Students to Participate in the Second Student Competition for the Universities of Mosul and Nineveh Funded by Expertise France for the Academic Year 2020-2021

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the guidance of the President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. al-Ahmadi, and in partnership with the Universities of Mosul and Nineveh, the French Agency for International Technical Cooperation Expertise France launches – a project that YANAHD promotes, and in coordination with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the student competition in its second edition, to motivate students and develop the university campus within the framework of reviving the universities of Mosul and Nineveh in particular, and the city of Mosul and Nineveh Governorate in general.

1) Improve the quality and importance of educational options.

(2) Supporting students to develop their professional activities after graduation.

(3) Providing students with the necessary means to undertake academic projects/ or professional motivational project that enable them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.

(4) Motivating students and university life in campus.

As the winning projects in this competition receive financial support from the organization to develop the presented idea for implementing of the project on the ground as follows:

Category 1: Projects related to culture and heritage, the budget should not exceed 14000 USD per project.

Category 2: Projects related to employment and entrepreneurship, the budget should not exceed 9000 USD per project.

Category 3: Projects related to campus and civic participation, the budget should not exceed $ 7,500 per project.
