College of Medicine

Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi and members of the distinguished University Council, including the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, the University of Mosul organized a (Victory and Challenge Marathon) on the campus on Monday, December 21st 2020. Hundreds of students participated in the marathon as well as university teaching staff and employees. The results leads to the Faculty of Medicine winning in the second place (the employee category) when the Media and Public Relations Division chief engineer Hasan Y. Abdullah succeeded in this good result. On the sidelines of the celebration, an exhibition of plastic arts was organized which included many artistic paintings and beautiful expressive works. The holding of this sports carnival is due to the honor of all the blood that flowed to liberate this city and coincides with the start of the new academic year 2020-2021. The race witnessed the participation of a number of college students under the supervision of the Head of the Students’ Activities Division, lecturer Dr Muhammad Kh. Salih, and the lecturer of Physical Education, Ahmad Matar, and they were: Ali Ihsan Ibrahim, Abdullah I. Abdullah, Majd M. Daly (second stage) and Ibrahim Z. Khazal And Abdul Rahman A. Qasim, Abdul Razzaq M. Abdul Razzaq, Ayman M. Hanna (fourth stage), Hassan Ayman Abdel Hadi, and Abdullah M. Osama (sixth stage). To watch video.. click here.
