College of Medicine

The council of the College of Medicine held its seventh meeting for the academic year 2020-2021on Wednesday, December 23rd 2020. The meeting was chaired by the Dean, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice -Dean (Secretary of the Council) Assistant Prof Dr HUmam Gh. Ibrahim, and the Administrative Vice -Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf and the other council members. Initially, the two new members of the Council were welcomed: Prof Dr Imad A. Thanoun, and Lecturer Dr Zahra M. Shaaban on the occasion of their assumption of the presidency of the departments of Pharmacology and Pathology (respectively), wishing them success in their tasks assigned to them. After that, the meeting decisions were reviewed most notably the powers of the department councils and the heads of departments. Clinical training was also followed for the sixth stage and the rest of the other stages. Also, the scientific research was recorded for some teaching staff from different scientific departments. The regulations for applying for study leave for the academic year 2021-2022 were also discussed.
