Prof Dr Nashwan Q. Mahjoub from the Department of Surgery has been adopting as a scientific editor in the Journal of Obesity Surgery. The aforementioned journal is classified among the most prestigious international medical journals and is the spokesperson of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, known as IFSO, as it has an Impact Factor of 3.4. This choice is of great importance, as he is the first Iraqi physician to obtain this accreditation. The deanship and associate of the college congrats him, and wishing him continued success.
