The seventeenth student seminar of the Department of Medicine discussed the symptoms of the new corona and the latest developments in its treatment on Thursday, 11th February 2021. The students: Muhannad Raad, Nur Al-Huda Abdul Sattar, Azhar Azhar, Bilal Muhammad, and Zahra Saad presented the seminar entitled “In-Hospital Management of a Patient with COVID-19” under the supervision of the department’s rapporteur, lecturer Dr Wael Th. Younis. After that, there was a room for opinions, questions and interpositions by the attendees. The topic aimed to enhance awareness of the symptoms of the new corona disease and how to treat patients inside the hospital with a review of the latest developments in treatment protocols. This scientific activity is part of the academic requirements for the undergraduate students of the sixth year. Among the attendees were the head of the department, Prof Dr Khalid N.
