The Department of Pediatrics Holds a Student Seminar for Sixth Stage Students on Dyspnoea Syndrome in Children
The Department of Pediatrics held a student seminar of the sixth stage on the syndrome of dyspnoea in new-borns on Tuesday, 16th February 2021 under the supervision and presence of the Head of the Department, Assistant Prof Dr Riyad A. Al-Obaidi.
The seminar aimed to shed light on this disease, its definition, signs, how to diagnose, and treat it while presenting the most recent developments in this topic.
It reached the possibility of early and correct diagnosis of the condition and the possibility of preventing its occurrence in the next pregnancy.
The establishment of these activities is part of the study requirements for sixth stage students. Among the attendees were the rapporteur and the general teaching staff of the department as well as the students of the aforementioned stage (paediatric croup exclusively).
