The Faculties of Law, University of Mosul and Law, University of Kufa, held the joint virtual conference entitled “The Legal Perspective to Solve the Financial Crisis in Iraq” on Sunday, February 28th 2021. Dozens of academics and researchers from various Iraqi universities participated in the conference activities, among them the lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine Shaima’ H. Rashid for her joint research entitled “The Principle of Transparency for Public Organization and Its Impact on Protecting Public Funds.”

The aim of the conference is to shed light on the problem of the financial crisis afflicting the whole world and Iraq in particular due to the Corona pandemic, and its effects on countries with weak economies.

It recommended the necessity of establishing solid infrastructure to help developing and poor countries overcome current and future financial crisis.
