The Department of Microbiology conducts a practical mid-year examination of microbiology for third-year students
The Department of Microbiology conducted a mid-year practical examination of microbiology for third-stage students for the academic year 2020-2021 on Wednesday and Thursday 28-29 April 2021. Initially, the students were divided into ten groups. Each group consisted of thirty students as a maximum with adhering to health procedures.
In the exam, questions related to several tests and laboratory models were addressed to test the student’s abilities of how to deal with various tests for diagnosing bacteria and that had been acquired during the practical microbiology laboratories which were mostly conducted in attendance during the first semester. The examination took place under the supervision of the Head of the Department, the Lecturer Dr Asma Z. Shetawi, and in the presence of the rapporteur and the general teaching staff of the department.
