College of Medicine

The College of Medicine, Nineveh University held a virtual course on the design and types of epidemiological studies in medical research for the period 31st May2021 until 1st June, 2021. Several lectures were presented, including the lecture for the rapporteur of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, the Lecturer Dr Noha H. Al-Assaf entitled “Case Control Studies, and another for the Assistant Prof Dr Omaima A. Ibrahim, entitled “Randomized Clinical Trials”

The course, in its entirety, discussed the types of studies used in scientific research (especially medical ones) and how to use them and their applications.
