The College of Medicine Team Overcomes the College of Pharmacy and Nursing and Makes a Decisive Stride in the Student Competition of Scientific and Cultural of University of Mosul
The team of the College of Medicine has made a decisive stride in the Student Competition of Scientific and Cultural held by the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division of the University of Mosul. On Sunday, 4th July 2021, the second round of the competition witnessed the resumption of the competition. The results of the colleges of the medical group showed that the students of the College of Medicine achieving two successive wins over the Colleges of Pharmacy and Nursing. With these two wins (along with other results), the College of Medicine team surpassed the colleges of the medical group to automatically qualify for the final round to meet the representatives of the Engineering, Scientific, Humanities and Educational colleges.
The questions of the competition include several fields such as scientific, mathematical, literary, historical and geographic as well as general culture. The preparation and follow-up of the team is supervised by the head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit (from the Department of Paediatrics), Lecturer Dr Farah S. Yahya. The college is represented by an elite group of its students, who are: Othman A. Ahmed, Muhammad I. Hussein and Ahmed I. Ghazi (the sixth stage), Ghasaq T. Hamed (the third stage), and Zainab I. Jawad (the second stage). Wish our dear students success in the final stage and achieving first place if Allah willing.
