College of Medicine

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, received the first and second places for the university’s individual and team chess championships on Tuesday, 6th July 2021. They were handed to him by the Official of the Student Activities Division of the faculty, lecturer Dr Muhammad Kh. Saleh. In the past, the college had won the first place in the university’s individual chess championship when the student Zahra J. Ibrahim (first grade) was topped by achieving first place, while the students Muhammad J. Ibrahim, Muhammad T. Hassan (fifth grade) and Ahmed A. Fadel (first grade) got second place in the university team championship in the same game.
