College of Medicine

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, conducted an inspection visit to the college library on Wednesday, 11th August 2021. The Deanship closely looked at the progress of work and the latest available medical books or references. The Dean gave his wise directions in determining the criteria to be followed in adding any title, publication or atlas to it. Despite the huge loss that the library exposed as a result of losing everything during the years (2014-2017), it rebuilt itself again by its own. Today, it includes hundreds of modern medical books, dozens of titles of periodicals, atlases, CDs and theses as well as relevant electronic books. The Dean was accompanied on his visit by the Directors of the Registration and Information Divisions.
