A Teaching Staff in the Department of Surgery Takes Part in Digital Learning Designers Course in France

In order to improve the path of e-learning at the University of Mosul; the university presidency is keen to developing the capabilities of its academic staff and providing training opportunities in the field of designing learning curricula and its formulating techniques for electronic publishing. Twenty teaching staff from the university participate in the work of the first session of digital learning designers held by the French University of Rennes 1, for the period 10-14 February 2020. The course aims to prepare the study materials for the various academic and scientific specializations and how to handle them in a way that can be easily published and shared in educational platforms to communicate with students and trainees through the use of the Internet, where the course’s lectures are concerned with designing learning curricula, integrated learning techniques and distance learning. On the part of the College of Medicine, the lecturer Dr Muhammad S. Aziz, from the Department of Surgery, participated in the course as a candidate and a representative of the college. It is hoped that the trained cadres are going to transfer their acquired experience to all employees of colleges and centres of the University of Mosul in order to strengthen the foundations of learning and digital governance in all its joints.
