Follow-up to the Vice-President of University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed, Annals of the College of Medicine Mosul entered into the category of open access guide to periodicals DOAJ “Directory of Open Access Journals”, on May 18th 2020. DOAJ is one of the global databases, and entering the annals within its classification is one of the entry requirements for Scopus later. Sincere congratulations to University of Mosul in general, and to the college’s professors in particular, and researchers in general for this important academic achievement.
