College of Medicine

Under the direction of the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and the Scientific Vice- Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, the first virtual training course for the college’s teaching staff on the topic of digital content preparation was successfully held for the period November 29th 2020 until 3 December 2020. It was set up on the two platforms, Google Classroom and Google Meet, and with the coordination of the Scientific Affairs Division, where the lecturer of the Department of Surgery Dr Muhammad S. Aziz delivered a lecture. About fifty teaching staff participated in it representing the departments of anatomy, pharmacology, biochemistry, and medical physiology. On the last day, a practical test was conducted for all participants. This course is the first of its kind at the beginning of the new academic year 2020-2021. Other courses will be organized later on the same topic for the rest of the teaching staff from other departments.
