College of Medicine

A brief summary of the e-learning course in the College of Medicine:

1. On alternative sites (2015-2017), there were some special groups on social media, and the teacher posted his lectures (doc, pdf or ppt) or some videos.

   The College of Medicine has performed a workshop on e- learning on 8 Sept. 2019.

   At the end of 2019 and earlier 2020, a number of teaching staff had been delegated to various countries to train on the technique of e- learning.

   A number of teaching staff had attended a number of workshops, held by the presidency of university, on e- learning in different times in 2019.

   The College of Medicine have resumed giving its lectures electronically according to the directions of President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Quay K. al-Ahmadi, and follow- up of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed, on 29 Feb. 2020 during the precautionary holiday from Coronavirus .

   Actually, the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Radiology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Anatomy and Medical Physiology have already begun to communicate with their students, to give lectures of the second semester 2019-2020 via the Google Classroom service, Google Classroom.

   The number of lectures given until Sunday, 1 March 2020 was ten.

   Lectures are given consecutively and according to the weekly schedule of lectures, which are only theoretical lectures.
