The ENT Division held the first meeting of the academic year 2019-2020 with the Journal Club for Iraqi and Arab Board students on Wednesday, 13th November in the scientific hall. The meeting was held in the presence of the Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine, Assist. Prof Dr Hazim Kh. al-Allaf, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof Dr Humam Gh. Zubeer, Rapporteur of the Department of Surgery, Assist. Prof Dr Yaqdan Z. al-Saleem, and the Iraqi Board of Otorhinolaryngology (Mosul Training Centre) Prof Dr Ali A. Mohammed. The meeting, which was chaired by the head of the Department of Surgery, Prof Dr Samir I. al-Saffar, included a valuable lecture for Lect. Dr Alia A. Najm from the Department of Medicine entitled” Therapeutic Treatment of Head and Neck Tumours” After the lecture, there were discussions by the attendees who were the teaching staff of the college, especially from the Department of Surgery and students of the Iraqi and Arab board.
