The publishing house, Al-Qalam Cultural Foundation, issued the book entitled “From medical memory, stories and lessons” for a professor of the Dept. of Surgery, , assistant Prof Dr Zaid S. Khader on June 1st 2020. The book consisted of thirty medical stories that actually took place on the ground. Its theater was the health institutions and hospitals of the city of Mosul, without strange or novelty. Each story has a lesson learned, and the book is considered a guide and reference for students of institutes and medical staff on how to deal with patients and their companions alike. It also represents a valuable opportunity to inform the general public about what the doctor is suffering while performing his medical duty, and that his work is not always fraught with flowers or winds. The book is beautiful and elegant in printing, it is consisted of 194 pages and is worthy to read. Now, it is available in libraries.
