Selecting Two Projects for Students of the College of Medicine among the Winning Projects Funded by Expertise France

The presidency of University of Mosul announced the names of the winning projects in the second competition funded by Expertise France for the year 2021. Seventeen projects were selected including two projects for medical students.

The first project was for the student Muhammad R. Salih (third stage) with a group of students from other colleges on the use of virtual reality technology in education with establishing the virtual medical laboratories that allow students to learn and practical training in an imaginary world by wearing VR glasses. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the virtual reality company Veative in more than twenty-five countries around the world that implemented the virtual medical laboratories at Stanford University.

The second winning project aims to raise community health awareness and combat myths spread through various social media by preparing and publishing video episodes and awareness publications on public health under the supervision of doctors specialized in various health fields. The project is carried out by The Nobles Show team, a voluntary student organization, founded by the students of the College of Medicine at Mosul University in 2017. The students participating in the project are: Muhammad I. Hussein (sixth stage), Rashad F. Ahmed, Alaa M. Salim, Abd al-Rahman B. Khader and Rasha A. Muzaffar.
