The Kidneys and Urology Association held the eighth scientific conference for the period from 20-22 November 2019 at the martyr Darb al-Musawi hall for scientific conferences in Baghdad. The conference included seven scientific sessions, with the participation of the European World Association, the European School, the Arab Association for Urology, the Scientific Council for Medical Specializations, and the Medical City in Baghdad. A group of Iraqi, Arab and foreign medical specialists attended and participated in this conference. On the part of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Zaid S. Khader from the Department of Surgery attended this conference. The conference dealt with several axes including the most important and latest developments in laparoscopic surgery, lithotripsy, oncology, urology and deep and advanced surgeries, in order to develop this precise surgical specialty.
