The College of Medicine Attends the Conclusion of the Eighth Holy Qur’an Competition and Gets Rank Third for Female Student Category

Under the patronage and presence of the President of University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmedy, and in the presence of members of the University Council, the Central Committee of the Holy Quran Recitation Competition held a blessed ceremony to honour the winners of its eighth edition on Tuesday, 8thJune 2021. Two hundred reciters from various categories of the university’s affiliates (teaching staff) participated in the competition (employees, and graduate and undergraduate students) of both sexes.

On the part of the College of Medicine, the ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and accompanied by the Head of the Media and Public Relations Division, Chief Engineer Hasan Y. Abdullah. In terms of results, the student, Dorsen M. Aziz (third stage), won the third place in the preliminary studies competition category (females), while the students, Muhammad H. Shekr and Rahma W. Ghanim and Amna H. Ghadban (the sixth stage), were honoured electronically with participation certificates for obtaining a grade 80% or more. The Deanship of the College congratulates the mentioned students, wishing them continued success in the scientific, medical and creative fields together.
