College of Medicine

The College of Medicine conducted a coordination visit to the College of Nursing on Sunday, November 22nd 2020. The delegation of the College of Medicine was led by the Dean Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and with him were the two Scientific and Administrative Vice-Dean. She kindly welcomed them in her office, Tthe Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof Dr Salwa H. Al-Mukhtar. The two sides discussed the mechanism of coordination and scientific cooperation between the two aforementioned colleges. For its part, the College of Medicine expressed its readiness for a number of its professors to teach the students of the College of Nursing especially in anatomy. While the College of Nursing also confirmed the readiness of the Skills Lab to be used in clinical training for students of the College of Medicine especially in obstetrics and gynaecology. This joint academic and administrative coordination is a consolidation of the mutual and continuous scientific cooperation between the faculties of the university as a whole in preparation for the new academic year 2020-2021 which is expected to start on Sunday, December 6th 2020 in its entegrated form (electronic and attendance). The Heads of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family and Community Medicine, and Anatomy were also among the attendees.
