College of Medicine

The College of Medicine participated in a virtual international conference on Corona held by the University of Al-Qadisiyah for the period 22-23 April 2020. The activities of the aforementioned conference were attended by the Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, assistant Prof Dr Anmar B. Aldewachi with his research entitled “Diabetes and COVID 19: Available Data and Clinical Considerations”. 550 researchers from twenty countries, such as America, England, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and a number of Arab countries, as well as Iraq participated in the conference (which was held via the Zoom platform). The conference dealt with several issues, the most important of which are medical, humanities, pure and engineering sciences, e-learning and administrative sciences.
