College of Medicine

The Council and Deanship of the College of Medicine shared the joy of its graduate students for the academic year 2019-2020. This participation was represented by capturing the graduation photo (group56) that was taken on the runway of the College of Nursing on Sunday, November 22nd 2020. The graduates expressed their thanks and gratitude for the efforts made for them over the past years until they reached this advanced scientific stage. Then, their happiness and pleasure culminated by the presence of their professors, headed by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, the Scientific Vice- Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, the Administrative Vice- Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf as well as the other members of the Council. The same day also witnessed the distribution of shields and certificates of appreciation to the new doctors, future colleagues. In this regard, it is mentioned that the Faculty of Medicine was established in 1959, and that the first group of its graduates was in the academic year 1964-1965.
