The Council of the College of Medicine in its 14th Meeting Commends the Role of the Examination Committee in Success the Mid-Year Examinations for the Academic Year 2020-2021

The Council of the College of Medicine commended the role of the examination committee in success the mid-year exams for the academic year 2020-2021. This occurred during the council’s fourteenth meeting that took place on Tuesday 20th April 2021. It also commended the teaching staff (observers) cooperation and their commitment to the examination instructions which had the most positive impact on the examinations and their smooth running without any problems. It also discussed preparations for commencing the second semester and preparing schedules for electronic lectures, practical and clinical training, according to the blended learning mechanism approved by the ministry.

In the context of postgraduate studies, the results of the first course were approved. As for the academic research field, a number of researches have been registered for some academic staff from various scientific departments. The Council also approved the minutes of the Higher Education Fund meeting as well as other issues that were discussed.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council), Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and the Administrative Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf and other members of the Council.
