College of Medicine

Most councils of the scientific departments of the College of Medicine held their meetings electronically for the first time, for the period from 24th March 2020 to 6th April 2020. The Department of Medical Physiology, Surgery, Biochemistry, Paediatrics, Family and Community Medicine, Medicine, Anatomy, and Pathology held their meetings through programs Zoom, Skype or Viber (or other electronic communication). It is expected that the other four departments of the college will also hold their meetings within the next few hours or days. The departments aforementioned in their meetings dealt with the e-learning mechanism, and the inclusion of practical exercises in it for both students of the first level and the second stage. It was also emphasised in meetings that there is no final electronic exam, but only an evaluation of the activities and reports of students added to the annual average of students according to the directives of the ministry in effect in this regard, as well as issues that pertain to each department itself.
