The Dean of the College of Medicine Chairs a Meeting of the Editorial Board of the Annals of the College of Medicine Mosul and Awards its Administrative and Technical Staff
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed chaired a meeting of the editorial board of the Annals of the College of Medicine Mosul on Wednesday, 24th February 2021. The attendees discussed the progress of publishing research work in the Annals to ensure its continued publication on its fixed and regular dates and other decisions included in the agenda of the meeting. On the other hand, the Editor-in-Chief, Prof Dr Imad A. Thanoun (Head of the Dept. of Pharmacology) praised the Deanship and its continuous support and overcoming all difficulties or hindrances that may hinder the march of the annals especially as it is coming in the next few years to enter Scopus containers.
On the side-lines of the meeting, a member of the editorial board, Prof Dr Ali A. Muhammad (from the Department of Surgery), in a speech on behalf of the board, praised the efforts of the editor-in-chief as well as the technical and administrative staff represented by the annals’ website manager, assistant lecturer Firas M. Saeed as well as the computer official in it, the assistant chief programmers Nashwan Y. Yassin. After that, the Dean kindly awarded them for their strenuous efforts over the past period. The meeting and the honour were also attended by other members of the editorial board.
