The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mز Nathir Saeed chaired the second meeting of the University Committee for Medical Research Ethics for the academic year 2020-2021 on Tuesday 26th January 2021. The meeting was held at the College of Nursing, University of Mosul, and was attended by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof Dr Salwa H. Gheylan, and the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Prof Dr Zina A. Abdel-Majeed in addition to the other members. In the meeting, a set of items aimed at raising the level of scientific research in the colleges of the medical group, and the global sobriety were discussed in the meeting in addition to discussing a set of medical research titles submitted to the committee. Activating this committee and supporting its work is of great importance in order to achieve the scientific sobriety of the research prepared by researchers and to reach the highest levels of reliability and standardization that the University of Mosul seeks to obtain locally, regionally and internationally if Allah willing.
