The Department of Medicine Begins Holding Students’ Seminars for the Academic Year 2021-2022
The Department of Medicine has started holding student seminars for the sixth stage for the new academic year 2021-2022. On Wednesday, 15th September 2021, the first two seminars were held on the topics of circulatory failure and acute poisoning.
The first seminar entitled “Approach to a Patient with Acute Circulatory Failure (SHOCK)” was presented under the supervision of Assistant Prof Dr Arwa M. Al-Sarraf. After that, the second seminar entitled “Management of an Acutely Poisoned Patient” was presented under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr Mohamed Ghazi.
This science activity is part of the academic requirements for sixth-grade students. Among the attendees were the Head of the Department, Prof Dr KhalId N. Al-Kherro, the teaching staff of the department, and the students of the mentioned grade (the medicine group in particular).
