College of Medicine

In the presence of the Head of the Department of Medicine, Prof Dr Khaled N. Mustafa, the department started to hold student seminars for the sixth phase of the academic year 2020-2021 on Thursday, October 22th 2020 in the lecture hall (clinical departments building). That day, the first student seminar entitled “Updating Management of Type 2 Diabetes” was presented by the students: Sarah Saad Fadel, Muhammad Firas Salim, Abdullah Emad Abdel Jabbar, Abdullah Hikmat Ismail, and under the supervision of the lecturer Dr Muhammad Kh. Hajj Hamo. After the presentation, there was room for questions and comments on what was submitted by the attendees. It is hoped that the department will continue to hold these student seminars weekly in a regular way. Among the attendees were also the Rapporteur lecturer Dr Wael Th. Younis; the general teaching staff of the department as well as the group of medicine (the stager phase).
