Under the patronage of the President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, the Department of Microbiology issued an awareness brochure about corona vaccine with some announcements on 4th June 2021. The issuance comes at this particular time coinciding with the on-going corona pandemic and the need to educate about the necessity of speeding up the vaccination to protect the individual and all people. This educational activity is of great importance as it contributes to community awareness to reduce the pandemic gradually in order to eliminate it completely in a manner that enhances the role of the college and the university together. It ​also confirms their important position in the service of man and society as a whole.
