College of Medicine

The Scientific Vice-President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, held an extensive meeting with the heads and editors of the scientific journals of the colleges and research centers of the university on Sunday, 6th June 2021. The conference discussed the path of scientific journals and the mechanism of their development and advancement in order to enter them into the international Scopus containers. On the side of the College of Medicine, the meeting was attended by the editorial board of the Annals of the College of Medicine Mosul represented by the editor-in-chief, Prof Dr Imad A. Thanoon (the Head of th Department of Pharmacology, the editorial director Prof Dr Khalid N. Al-Kherro (Head of the Department of Medicine), and member of the editorial board, Prof Dr Ali A. Muhammad (from the Department of Surgery). The meeting is a confirmation of the ministry’s approach to supporting scientific journals in Iraqi universities.
