The Scientific Vice -President, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, chaired a meeting with the vice- deans for scientific affairs of the colleges on Sunday, 8th November 2020. The meeting dealt with several issues, the most important of which is the mechanism for forming scientific committees, their tasks and duplication, the instructions of graduate studies, and the mechanism for occupying seats. The topic of scientific promotions was also discussed, and the obstacles to finding appropriate solutions were discussed. In addition, the plan of admission to postgraduate studies for the academic year 2021-2022 was reviewed. On the part of the Faculty of Medicine, the meeting was attended by the scientific vice- dean, the assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim. It was also attended by the directors of the scientific affairs and graduate studies departments, and the official of the central promotions division.
