The Scientific Vice-President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha chaired a meeting with the committee in charge of medical research centres on Monday, November 16th 2020. The meeting (which lasted than three hours) dealt with the final needs that must be met to open research centre. The meeting also dealt with the need to expedite the removal of all existing obstacles while creating available scientific and technical mechanisms and formulas for these research centres to see the light in the near future. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Committee Supervising the Medical Research Centres, Prof Dr Samir I. Al-Saffar (Head of the Surgery Department), and a group of teaching staff from the Faculty of Medicine from different departments (other members of the committee).
