In the name of Allah the Most Beneficial, the Most Merciful

The anniversary of the World Education Day is passed which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in order to emphasize its essential role in building societies and achieving the goals of sustainable development. This occasion reminds us of the role of creative education in building the human being and society, and the need to work hard to ensure good, equitable, and comprehensive education at all levels. The Education and the breadth of its access enables everyone to have access to a wide to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for effective participation in the human, societal, urban and cognitive construction together. It is also the safe way out of the tunnel of poverty, backwardness and ignorance to catch up with the modern human and civil civilization and the awaited bright tomorrow. The anniversary of the International Day of Education passes this year, and all humanity has not yet recovered from the Corona pandemic. Nevertheless, the whole world including our country Iraq (and the University of Mosul and the College of Medicine, for example) has witnessed tremendous leaps in changing the method of education from the presence to the electronic during the academic year 2019-2020 . With it being a modern experience and the difficulty that accompanies this modernity some of its parts on the deanship, the teacher, or the student alike, but in the end it proved its effectiveness and success by all standards. Thus, the aforementioned academic year was completed smoothly and smoothly. And here is the College of Medicine (just like the rest of the colleges of the University of Mosul) the new academic year 2020-2021 has started in it whether at the level of primary or postgraduate studies following this year the method of integrated education (attendance and electronic) to avoid, but rather, to overcome the Corona pandemic (on the one hand), and believing in and enhancing the role and importance of education and the need for its sustainability and continuation (on the other hand). In conclusion, I congratulate the presidency of University of Mosul represented by its president, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi, and the University Council on this good occasion. I also congratulate the College Council and through it to my teaching staff colleagues calling on them to do more efforts in the service of science and learning. I also do not miss this chance to present my congratulations to my students (colleagues and future doctors) so that they can benefit from the knowledge of the teaching staff diligently and from their abundant experience.
